If there was one band in the current metal scene that could be looked at as having gained momentum in a short amount of time, AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK would be that band. Doing it with tons of hard work and relentless touring the band has built a rabid army of fans that support all things AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK. It's that hard work that got the attention of Mediaskare Records owner Baron Bodnar, who immediately recognized the potential in the band. Within months of their signing, Mediaskare released the bands debut album 'Allegiance'. The 10 tracks of face smashing metal contained on 'Allegiance' quickly caught on with metal fans around the world and added more fuel to the fire that was AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK's quick rise to the top of the underground metal scene.
In support of 'Allegiance', AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK toured the U.S. with bands like Necrophagist, Cephalic Carnage, Sworn Enemy, Kataklysm, Animosity, and most recently Through The Eyes Of The Dead. With the fans gained from those tours, the band is now getting ready for their first ever headlining tour. As the last tour in support of 'Allegiance', the band will be bringing Walls Of Jericho, The Warriors, Born Of Osiris, and Belay My Last with them on the 'Farewell To Allegiance' Tour.
Following the 'Farewell To Allegiance' Tour the band will finish writing their new album, which is due out in Spring of 2008 through Mediaskare Records. With all the ground gained through their hard work with 'Allegiance', 2008 is looking to be the year AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK takes the metal world by it's throat and claims the throne as it's new leader.
